ORDERING/TERMS
To make comments, ask questions, or discuss an order, you may contact us by phone or by e-mail. Before your order is taken, it is necessary to thoroughly discuss your project with you to be certain all of your requirements are understood and agreed upon. After discussing your job, two (2) copies of a quotation which outlines in writting all of the job requirements , total job cost, amount for required 11% federal excise tax, sales tax if required, shipping cost and estimated time before delivery will be mailed to you. The quotation will also specify a minimum deposit requirement which will also include the cost for any special materials or parts. The minimum deposit is calculated based upon 30% of the total cost of the firearm only which does not include excise tax, sales tax or shipping cost. The deposit must be paid before the order can be started. You will be notified before work is started. After work is started, the deposit is non-refundable.
After receiving the quotation copies, if you agree with all terms of the quote and wish to place the order, you must sign one copy of the quotation and mail it to us with the required amount for deposit preferably in the form of a money order or cashiers check. You may send a personal check but the order will not be scheduled for work until the check clears the bank. Delivery time for your order will be directly affected by how soon we can get special parts ( eg. custom barrel ) from our suppliers. If a supplier has begun work on a special custom component for use on your order and you should decide to cancel your order even though work has not yet begun at our shop, be warned that return of your deposit may not include the cost for that special component.
Delivery time is dependent upon requirements of the order. Supplier delivery time for special components or materials will as above stated have direct impact on our delivery time. The number of jobs present in shop before your order is received will increase time required to complete your order. Although we desire to give our customers the most reasonable delivery time possible, it is true that good things come to those who are willing to wait. We must not sacrifice quality for the sake of shorter delivery time. We will give you the best reasonable delivery based upon existing conditions at the time your job is quoted.
WARRANTY
Swing-Lock Custom Muzzleloading,Inc. warrants all factory
finished
firearms to be free of defects in material or workmanship, for the lifetime
of the firearm, to the original owner.
This warranty does not cover any damage resulting from careless
handling, improper loading, corrosion, neglect, or customer alteration.
Nor does it cover normal wear of any part, metal or wood finish, cost of
inconvenience due to product failure or transportation damage.
Swing-Lock Custom Muzzleloading, Inc. reserves the right to refuse
to repair or replace firearms or parts thereof damaged by the above.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also
have other rights which vary from state to state.
